WHAT
A Printable Press was created as an alternative to expensive stationery, but also as an alternative to the totally-from-scratch, do-it-yourself approach. It is a way to have professionally designed invitations for those on a small budget. Just think of it as a way to have your cake but eat it too.
We believe that everyone deserves good design. In this day and age it is more important than ever to be careful with money—but lovely design should always be a part of life as well.

WHO
A Printable Press is also Kimi Weart and Paul Galloway, two artist/designers who got married in 2008. Our home base is in Brooklyn, NY, where we are constantly dazzled by the people, the arts, the lights at night. But we also run away to a tiny cabin in the woods upstate, where we can tramp about and bring home branches, leaves, feathers and polished stones. And everything ends up in our designs.
